Update Version Prestashop

Each version of Prestashop offers many functions to improve shop management and enhance the user experience, in addition, Prestashop fixes many errors related to logic and website speed as well as against hacking methods to your site. Therefore, updating the new version plays an important role in improving site’s traffic and revenue.

Below are how we deploy and commissions in updating process, we hope to serve you best:

Case 1: update in the same big Prestashop version: 1.5.x to 1.5.x, 1.6.x to 1.6.x, 1.7.x to 1.7.x ($50->$300):

• Database: : We will keep your entire database, update Prestashop changes.

• Theme: We compare the changes of theme in updated version and patch your current theme, or you can choose any theme from Leotheme, we will share it free for you.

• Module: We update modifications of basic Prestashop module and Leotheme’s module.

Case 2: update between big Prestashop versions: from 1.4.x, 1.5.x to 1.6.x or 1.7.x ($100-> $600):

• Update to version 1.6.x: we update all database from version 1.5 to 1.6

• Update from version 1.6 to 1.7: we update the following tables in database namely product, category, order, customer, and cms. Since these 2 versions change all database structure and core, we keep only the above tables when updating.

• Theme:  you can use your own theme or freely choose one from Leotheme.com

When you reach agreement  with Leotheme in term of price for updating version, please provide us with the following information:
 

• Server name, user name and password to access FTP.

• User name and password to access database management software (phpMyAdmin)

• BackOffice linked to shop, email and password to an account set up as an administrator. This account can be temporary and deleted after the update and testing are completed.

• Access to domain management interface  to create a backup. For example: Cpanel account

Note:

• We provide a 6 month warranty after the update.

• We are only committed to update default modules or modules from Leotheme.com. For modules from other programmers, we will support install, not support update.
